The Most Common Unit Mistake

I have seen this happen more times than I can count. Someone enters "12" thinking feet, but the tool is set to inches. Or they use meters for one measurement and feet for another. The result is completely wrong.

- Use the same unit for all measurements
- For 10 feet 6 inches, enter it as 10.5 feet

FAQ: Area Calculator
Multiply the length by the width. For a 12 ft × 10 ft room, that is 12 × 10 = 120 square feet.
The formula is π × radius². For a circle with radius 6 ft, the area is π × 36 ≈ 113 square feet.
Multiply the base by the height, then divide by 2. For a triangle with base 10 ft and height 8 ft, the area is (10 × 8) ÷ 2 = 40 square feet.
Multiply the square footage by 0.0929. For 120 sq ft, that is 120 × 0.0929 ≈ 11.1 square meters.
